Fairfax, Va. — On Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the department and all fire and rescue stations cordially invite the general public to participate in a community open house spotlighting fire prevention. The theme for 2023 is “Cooking safety starts with YOU” ™ It serves to remind us all of the simple actions we can take to stay safe from fire year-round.
